Michael's Elite Mobile RV Repair Llc
Mobile RV repair and inspection service based in Palatka, rated 5.0 across 89 Google reviews.
A propane inspection in Florida is the cheapest hour you will ever spend on a used rig, and also the one most buyers skip. I skipped it once and ended up paying for a new regulator after the first cold morning in Ocala. Twenty-one inspectors here handle propane work, and 19 of them pair it with leak and moisture checks. That pairing is the one I would book before signing anything.

A proper propane check means a pressure drop test on the whole system, a soap solution or electronic sniff at every joint, and a look at the tank, regulator, pigtails and appliance connections. Ask the inspector to fire up the furnace, water heater, stove and fridge on gas, because a system that holds pressure can still starve an appliance with a bad regulator. Twenty of the 21 Florida inspectors listed here are mobile, meaning they come to the coach wherever it sits. That matters on a private sale, where the rig may be stored at a house rather than a dealership lot. Get the inspection done before your deposit becomes non-refundable.
Nineteen of the 21 inspectors also do leak detection, and the same 19 check for moisture. That combination tells you more about a used coach than the propane test alone. Propane leaks and water leaks both hide in the same compartments, and one often causes the other when a wet seal rots a fitting. The written report should list every test performed, the pressures you started and ended with, and photographs of anything suspect. If an inspector only hands you a verbal all-clear, that is not a report. Ask what happens if the rig fails and how long the inspection takes on a coach your size.
The top names here hold perfect ratings across the board. Michael's Elite Mobile RV Repair has 89 reviews, the deepest track record of the group, and covers motorhome and propane work with generator and chassis checks. No Problem Mobile RV Services carries 15 reviews on mobile, motorhome and propane jobs. A1 RV Repair appears under several listings with pre-purchase, leak, mold and propane work plus roof and moisture checks. Call two of them. Ask about NRVIA certification, how they test for leaks, and whether they will inspect the appliances themselves or only the lines. A propane specialist who skips the appliances has done half the job.
Twenty-one inspectors appear on this page. Twenty of them are mobile and will come to the coach. Nineteen also handle leak detection and moisture checks, so you can often book one visit that covers propane and water intrusion together.
Nineteen of the 21 offer pre-purchase inspections. Fourteen list motorhome work specifically. If you are buying a diesel pusher or a large fifth wheel, confirm the inspector has experience with that size of coach before you book.
A pressure drop test result, the starting and ending pressures, the method used to check joints, appliance test results, and photos of anything questionable. Ask for it in writing and keep it. A report is your evidence if the seller disputes the findings later.
Schedule it before your deposit becomes non-refundable, or make the deposit contingent on the inspection. That gives you room to walk away if the report finds a leaking tank or questionable fittings. It costs far less than repairs and protects your negotiating position.
