About REC TEC LLC
REC TEC is a mobile RV repair and inspection service out of Sussex, working across Sussex, Passaic and Bergen Counties, West Milford included. The shop handles electrical, HVAC, appliances, slide-outs, leveling systems, awnings and plumbing, plus water intrusion checks. The owner is RVTI Level 2 certified with manufacturer training behind him. Reviewers keep coming back to how much Jon explains. One buyer had him inspect a new trailer before pickup and got walked through the flaws the builder had missed. A first-time owner got a crash course on the systems, a roof repair and some towing advice in the same visit. Others mention fair pricing and quick diagnosis, including a slide-out that failed on a Friday evening before a cross-country trip. Pre-purchase inspections and mobile service are both on offer. If a job falls outside what they handle, they point you to local specialists. Booking runs through their normal business hours.

“Jon was great. Our family bought a used travel trailer during this last winter. Being a first time RV owner, I needed a crash course on all the systems and to see if the rig was in good shape for an upcoming trip.” – April B., 5 years ago, on Google
